Summer at NOVA
NOVA celebrates liturgy at Lacy Woods Park Shelter in Arlington in the summer. On June 12th NOVA celebrated Sydney Carome's First Communion in the park. The investiture of the new NOVA co-chairs took place on June 19th. On the 26th the community said farewell to the Pastor-Icaza family who are returning home to Mexico after 4 years. Also NOVA participated in assembling Ramadan baskets for the shelter in cooperation with the Muslim Women's Coalition. The community also provided most of the items for Bridges to Independence picnic to celebrate the Adopt a Family Program graduates. NOVA's new chair investiture was a joyous occasion.At the end of July NOVA celebrated the First Communion of 3 .
